With charm to spare, The Good Home of Oakmont has added The Good Home Gallery just blocks away.
Both shops, on Allegheny River Boulevard, feature antique, vintage, and artisan-made furnishings, accessories, artwork, and seasonal decor handpicked by proprietor Lisa McShea.
The Good Home of Oakmont Explores Collecting Further with Additional Gallery
Opening The Good Home in 2021 was a natural move for McShea, who grew up treasure-hunting with her mother at estate sales, auctions, and flea markets. Her discerning eye and love of collecting gained her a following — and the need to open a second location for her ever-changing array of finds.
Items range from sofas, tables, and chairs to textiles, paintings, and lighting fixtures, as well as serving pieces, candles, prints, and books. Each piece reflects McShea’s affinity for timeless quality and lasting appeal.
Her eclectic taste shines through in helping customers blend different eras and aesthetics seamlessly into their existing décor.
For the holidays, both shops are filled with Santas, snowmen, reindeer, wreaths, and miniature houses aglitter with snow, plus myriad options for gilfting.”
