On the first Friday of each month, artists and neighbors gather on Penn Avenue for a free evening of music, shopping, and food. Unblurred is Pittsburgh’s longest‑running art crawl, drawing people from across the region since 1998 .
Along the 4800–5500 blocks of Penn Avenue, galleries, artist studios, and small businesses open their doors late for special openings. You’ll find a dynamic mix of visual art, dance performances, live music, glassblowing demonstrations, and more .
The Garfield Night Market often runs alongside the crawl, featuring local vendors selling everything from jewelry to food . Some venues offer complimentary snacks and beverages, though donation jars may help cover costs .
