Listing Description: Glass Fox Audio presents their first-ever Pittsburgh Podcast Showcase, featuring five local podcasters recording episodes of their story-related shows live onstage in Tarentum on Saturday, August 22.
The showcase will feature a staged reading of “The Proposal” by Anton Chekov, a spoiler-free review of the classic film “The Bedford Incident,” a recounting of the wartime memoir of Fred Larsen, a table-read of a wartime story set in the fantasy world of Korr, and a film themed trivia game. Attendees will be able to meet other podcast and audio enthusiasts, enter to win raffle prizes, and watch the featured podcasters as they record their episodes live onstage.
Participating podcasts include Play On Words, Silver Screen Time Machine, Asunder, Fate of Korr, and Trivia with Jeff. The Pittsburgh Podcast Showcase will take place at the Poduty Live Podcast Theater (408 Corbet St.) on Saturday, August 22. Doors open for the event at 4:45 PM.
