Trundle Manor

Carnival sideshow and Halloween collide at the unabashedly creepy Trundle Manor in Swissvale. Artists Rachel and Anton Miriello — aka Mr. Arm and Velda Von Minx — transformed the first floor of their Victorian home into a museum of the macabre packed with taxidermy, antique weaponry, medical specimens and bizarre oddities. Touted as a tourist trap with an “Addams Family” vibe, Trundle Manor reflects the couple’s flair for theatrical display and special effects. One of its bestknown exhibits is Olivia’s Singing Tumor, a benign uterine mass displayed with synchronized lighting and music. Visits are by appointment only and require a donation of cash — or something weird.
