At 380 acres, this vibrant green space offers endless opportunities for respite and recreation. You can walk or hike any number of trails, including the reservoir’s popular 0.8-mile loop. Wet a line at Lake Carnegie to angle for catfish and largemouth bass. Swim laps at the city’s only long-course outdoor pool. Play tennis or volleyball at four available sand courts. Cyclists can also go for a spin on a banked half-mile loop at the Bud Harris Cycling Track. There are two areas for kids to explore: the Super Playground and the smaller Farmhouse Park. Take time to appreciate the grand Victorian entryway with its elegant garden, bronze sculptures by Giuseppe Moretti and clustered Ionic columns, circa 1896.
