There are many ways to welcome a new season in Point Breeze. On June 5, the summer will be greeted with sundresses as well as wine glasses clinking at an event featuring a myriad of vibrant paintings by Stephen Hankin.
Summer 2026 Events in Point Breeze
Hankin’s annual (and growing) Wine and Cheese Event is run by volunteers with the Point Breeze Organization at his cornerside gallery, located at 408 Lloyd St. — near Frick Park Market and the beauty that is Frick Park itself (both of which are featured in works in his gallery, fitting with ease beside paintings from Mexico and Maine).
Speaking of the Point Breeze Organization, which aims to improve quality of life in the neighborhood. You can support group’s community efforts with a sweet treat in hand. On July 1, stroll down to Bakery Square for the Jeni’s Ice Cream Social. Where you can try a new flavor and benefit the organization at the same time.
Music and Cultural Events Across the Neighborhood
Keep an eye on the concert calendar at The Breezeway Home. You can find it at @thebreezewayhome on Instagram. It lists upcoming events featuring musicians from nearby neighborhoods. Past events have featured jazz trios, Celtic hymns, and more.
