Camp Twin Creeks
Camp Twin Creeks is a co-ed sleepaway summer camp in the Allegheny Mountains, offering traditional two-week sessions for ages 7–16 with arts, sports, water activities, adventure, and also unique MasterClass options. Trinity Montessori & Reggio-Inspired Summer Program at CLS
The Trinity Summer Program at Carlow University’s Campus Lab School offers an engaging and joyful summer experience rooted in hands-on learning and creative exploration. Designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, as well as a love of discovery, the program blends Montessori learning with Reggio-inspired activities in a supportive and enriching environment. 9 weekly session: June 9- August 7th. Chatham University’s Summer Camps
Chatham University’s Summer Camps offer creative, active, and confidence-building experiences on the beautiful Shadyside Campus. Families can choose the beloved Music & Arts Day Camp which features musical theater, mixed media, swimming, as well as other options for rising kindergarteners–9th graders. Young athletes can sharpen skills and stay active through Cougar Sports Camps in soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and more, all led by Chatham’s experienced coaches and student-athletes. Dragon’s Den Summer Camps 2026
Dragon’s Den Summer Camps 2026 delivers seven action-packed weeks of adventure for ages 7–13, running June 22 through August 7. Campers climb the rock wall, tackle the ropes course, explore Pittsburgh on exciting field trips, and enjoy nonstop outdoor activities designed to build confidence and teamwork. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included, making it easy for families. With high-energy programming and memorable experiences each week, Dragon’s Den promises a summer full of movement, discovery, and fun.

Falcon Camp
Located less than 2 hours west of Pittsburgh, Falcon Camp offers an eye-catching lakefront setting, a talented staff and a wide range of activities. Boys and girls ages 6-16 choose daily from a variety of activities such as sailing, horseback riding, tennis, theater, sports, riflery, nature study and more. La Dolce Cucina Kids Camp
La Dolce Cucina Kids Camp invites young chefs on a delicious journey through Italy, one recipe at a time. In this hands-on Italian cooking camp, children roll up their sleeves, knead dough like a true nonna, and create authentic dishes in a fun, creative environment. Campers gather at a joyful family-style table to taste their creations while building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for real food. It’s an immersive culinary adventure designed to inspire curiosity and connection.

JCC Day Camps
JCC Day Camps provide impactful summer experiences centered on teamwork, positive values, and independence. School-aged campers explore sports, arts and crafts, STEM, nature, hiking, performing arts, cooking, gardening, and more in a welcoming, child-focused environment. The program emphasizes building connections, fostering individual growth, and creating meaningful community among campers, families, and staff. PCA&M Summer Art Camp
Each summer, Pittsburgh Center for Arts & Media welcomes young artists ages 6–17 to its Shadyside campus for ten weeks of art-focused camps. Led by talented, experienced instructors, campers explore a range of mediums while developing foundational skills and creative confidence. Whether experimenting with new techniques or refining existing talents, students are encouraged to express themselves and create original masterpieces. PCA&M’s Summer Art Camp is an inspiring space where imagination and artistic growth flourish.

PMT Conservatory Summer Musical Theater Camp
PMT Conservatory Summer Musical Theater Camp offers a positive, energizing environment from June 22 – July 19 for ages 4–18. Students explore musical theater, dance, and technical theater while building creativity, confidence, and community. Guided by dedicated professionals, campers develop transferable life skills, teamwork, and lasting friendships. More than a performance program, PMT emphasizes collaboration and personal growth both on and off the stage. It’s a dynamic summer experience designed to nurture young performers into confident, capable leaders.

Pittsburgh Opera’s Bravo Academy
Held at Pittsburgh Opera’s professional performance venue, the Bitz Opera Factory, Bravo Academy offers ages 11–15 hands-on experiences with leading industry professionals and performers. Participants take classes in costume design, improvisation, voice, opera storytelling, movement, and lighting design, gaining insight into both performance and production. Running in two July sessions from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, Bravo Academy provides a supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to shine in the limelight.

Point Park University
Spend your summer in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh at Point Park University. Students ages 10 to 18 can refine creative skills in animation, writing, dance, theatre, filmmaking, and even Dungeons & Dragons, or explore entrepreneurship, robotics, sports business, and service learning. With both on-campus and commuter options, participants can advance their talents, strengthen college applications, and discover new passions. Point Park’s dynamic programs offer an engaging urban experience designed to elevate knowledge and inspire ambition.

The Frick Pittsburgh
While The Frick Pittsburgh will not host a summer camp this year, families can enjoy a range of seasonal activities, including the free Summer Explorer Series and the Time-Traveling Caterpillar Scavenger Hunt. Weekly drop-in programs beginning in late June feature artmaking, storytelling, and historical exploration for all ages. Visitors can collect passport stamps, earn prizes, as well as search the site for hidden caterpillars inspired by the exhibition French Moderns: Matisse/Renoir/Degas.

Three Rivers Rowing Association
Three Rivers Rowing Association Youth Summer Camps introduce students in grades 4–12 to on-the-water rowing along Pittsburgh’s rivers. From beginner Learn-to-Row sessions to competitive U19 varsity programs, campers build strength, confidence, and teamwork under experienced coaches. The program offers a supportive pathway to year-round teams, collegiate rowing, and also scholarship opportunities.
